Bonaire has the highest moisture load of anywhere we work. Low ground, a water table that comes up close to the surface, and crawl spaces that take standing water in a wet season. A dehumidifier here has real work to do.
It also has to go in last. Drainage and a pump come first so liquid water has an exit, then the ground gets sealed, and only then does a unit make sense. Installed before that it runs continuously against a supply it can never keep up with.
